Much like his Earth-616 counterpart, Mordecai Boggs would seek to sign budding musician Rick Jones after hearing him play in a Greenwitch Village cafe. The Boggs of this reality was oblivious to the fact that Rick was secret the Hulk, or that he was bonded to the Kree hero Captain Marvel.[citation needed]
