History

Monstro the Mighty is one of the sons of the god Mars, and for centuries followed in his father's footsteps as a god of war. He fought alongside Julius Caesar, El Cid, Joan of Arc, and Napoleon Bonaparte, among others. However, after the battle of Austerlitz, he became tired of constant battle and warfare and sought a peaceful life.

His father, furious, threw him forward in time to the Second World War, where he emerged in New England. Initially perceived as a threat, he was able to explain himself, and assisted the American government in detaining a Nazi spy after the Americans convinced him that the Axis powers were the sort of warmongers he despised.[1]
