History
Mieko was the manager of a love hotel in Tokyo, Japan.
One night, she accepted an American and his companion, a Japanese woman into the "Mission to Mars" room. Later in the night, the Japanese woman sought aid for her American friend had been injured. Mieko called her son Hitoshi, who was a veterinary student, to help fix the American's wounds. It turned out the American was a mutant with sharp claws. They helped him anyway and the Japanese woman was thankful.[1]Notes
