  • Hi Jasonmaia. Happy 4th of July!!!

  • Hey, could you add Blasko, Karl and Morty into the list?

I fell like its totally pointless into having only one character.

      Loading editor
    • Actually I'm following my logic about the inclusion of the various characters, but I will certainly make an exception and then add the other characters you mentioned.

  • Hi Jasonmaia. I checked in Thor page and I don't see the history of Thor appearing in Secret Empire. How can we add the history back?

  • Hi!

I wanted to know: Where did you found those Ideal pics? I've been looking for both real issues at a decent price or even scans, in vain.

    Thanks in advance!

    • I have found scans online time ago. I don't remember when or where...I think on a site similar to "Get Comics"

  • Apparently Undoniel is having trouble with messages so he asked me to be sure that you're aware characters which appear and/or are mentioned in Hercules and/or Trojan War are canon to Earth-616.

    • I thought that the various characters included in the Marvel Classics Comics series should be included in the Ideaverse as they are a direct expression of the various novels where they appear, in fact in every number appears in addition to a pin-up of the author even a short biography of the same. Moreover this would justify the various discrepancies between the same characters described in different series, such as the Bram Stoker's Dracula of Marvel Classics Comics Vol 1 9 and the Dracula and the various supporting characters that appear in the various series of Dracula in the Earth-616 (Tomb of Dracula and above all Dracula Live, where the same novel is described but in a different way). Anyway, I will temporarily suspend the update of the Marvel Classics Comics series (even though I now only have 9 numbers left) waiting for your confirmation, otherwise I will correct the numbers already edited by me, perhaps inserting the "Earth" that seems more congenial to you. The same goes for the ten series of Marvel Illustrated.

As for The Trojan War, you were absolutely right as I had confused it with Marvel Illustrated: The Iliad Vol 1 and in fact I tried to fix it.

Always open to further suggestions and corrections, I thank you in advance.

My only counter-example would be Trojan War Vol 1 which is a recollection of various Greek and Roman writings (but I don't think there was any original Marvel material).

I don't see how it is an argument here. Conan's magazines and handbooks includes a lot of stuff about the authors, yet it is still (without mentioning legal status) in Earth-616.

It could indeed justify inconsistencies, but inconsistencies are frequent.

Part or all of those series could indeed be in Ideaverse (like the Haunt of Horror Edgar Poe or even Lovecraft). But what we need is to complete the Ideaverse first, what goes in or out, etc.

  • Hi!

Since you've created (well, it was a few years from now already) the page for Cleito, could you complete it?

I'm particularly interested in the parts on Adam and Set, as I'm trying to do a clean-up/completion on monotheistic religions-based stuff.

    Then in advance!

    • I've added some citations about Cleito that I recovered from the two series of Man-Thing Vol 3 and Strange Tales Vol 4. As for Adam (exactly Adam K'ad-Mon) is reported on the "Book of Job" in Strange Tales Vol 4 2 he was created by Cleito's loins in the place that would become the Nexus of All Realities, while for the other relatives I recovered from Adam K'ad-Mon's entry.

I also add that the story about the Fallen Stars remained unfinished but that DeMatteis kindly delivered the plot that it would have been to make two subsequent unpublished numbers of Strange Tales Vol 4 to an Editor of Appendix to the Handbook of Marvel Universe[1] in the entries of Cleito[2], K'ad-Mon of the Fallen Stars[3], and others.

  • I noticed you've been helping complete the episode pages I've been working on by adding links and making character pages, and I wanted to say thanks.

Also, do you watch the show?

    Thanks,

    • I've seen the series in the late 70s translated in Italian. At that time I was very excited to be able to see one of the Marvel heroes in Live Action.

    • Cool, yeah, I really like the show too. I own the complete series, and I've been re-watching the episodes, along with the Nicholas Hammond Amazing Spider-Man TV series to complete the episodes on here.

  • I'm just curious why the Toxin of Earth-TRN258 is called Patrick Mulligan when the character is stated to be Eddie Brock wearing the Toxin symbiote in the costume's official description?

  • I'm going to have to ask you to stop creating redirects for Earth-0 characters. The bot can't move pages if there's a redirect in the way.
