• hey there - I realize I‘m a bit out of the game for admin. work. But may I ask why you‘re changing the links for a proposed move before that move has been approved? That discussion has been held several times over several years and I don‘t see any cause for pre-emptive action... (but please do correct me if there is)

      Loading editor
• Some time ago I had done the exact opposite, ie I had used "Nazi Germany" where it was written "Nazi Party" because the link was active on the first, but it was immediately corrected by returning to the form " Nazi Party" (even if the link was not active, which is not yet), to which I imagined that the proposed move was final and it was only a matter of time for it to be carried out.

From now on, I will not make any more moves about it, but I will wait for the definitive development of the matter.

• Hey, Why have you been deleting characters from the Index, I had assumed you were giving them pages but these edits just seem to be you deleting them, Why? And if there is a reason, please go to the corresponding comic and delete the link to the index

      Loading editor
• If you look carefully at the characters you think I have deleted, I have simply moved them to their group edit. For example in this case if you look in Character Index/J and then go on to the Character Index/J#Jim subgroup you will see them all inside.

I simply followed the guidelines that preceded me in editing the Character Index.

• At least two of them ended up fully deleted, since there Image ended up in Special:UnusedFiles (Jim (Civil War) is the one that I noticed) so I had assumed more, could you look through and see any that may have been accidentally deleted are restored please. Thanks

• Also thank you for your assistance or sorting them out, it has been a great help

• Where did you get the information for the "Kenneth Reilly (Earth-982)" article? I'm told by multiple users that there's no mention of this character in the Darkdevil handbook entry from Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A-Z #3, which seemed like the most plausible source...

      Loading editor
• I went to comb through various comics and in fact I did not find traces of Kenneth Reilly (apart from a French site where even there he is listed as a brother of Darkdevil, even if it contradicts in the first line of its history where it is written " Reilly Tyne is the only child of Ben Reilly and Elizabeth Tyne ").

I have edited the character of "Kenneth Reilly" only in relation to his presence among the Relatives of Reilly Tyne, adding the various parameters only by logic (for example the Relatives that corresponded to those of Reilly Tyne as his brother), although I do not remember why I entered as "First Apparition" the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A-Z Vol 1 3, also because I do not own that number in particular but the previous version of All-New Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe Vol 1 3 where even there is no mention of Kenneth Reilly in Darkdevil entry.

So I admit my mistake and then apologize.

• You seem to be adding a lot of false mentions/references/invocations lately, so I'm intending for this to remind you what each of those are in hopes you'll stop adding them incorrectly henceforth.

Mentions and invocations must be spoken aloud. If it's part of the narration or something that's thought, but not actually spoken, then it's not a mention nor invocation and you shouldn't use Template:Mentioned nor Template:Invoked to denote them.

References are like mentions, only they're not actually spoken, so if it's in narration or thought, that's a reference and uses Template:Referenced.

Lastly, mentions/references/invocations must be specific to the species, not just a random representative of the species without explicitly including the species, for them to be listed as well.

So for example, "Their king is Black Bolt." would render solely:

* Black Bolt (Blackagar Boltagon)

Where as, "Their king is the Inhuman Black Bolt." would render both:

* Black Bolt (Blackagar Boltagon)
* Inhumans

Does that make sense?

• You're practically telling me that if in a story Galactus is only mentioned, does not his race automatically necessarily have to be unless it is officially declaimed? This should be true even if, for example, a Skrull appears in a story, but the word Skrull is not written anywhere!

As for the locations, it was done only for a question of order. The State of belonging of the relative city was logical to me to imply. Otherwise if the city of New York is drawn, but not the State, the State of New York should be omitted regardless, always for the same logic.

However I will pay attention to any changes concerning the issues.

• Yes, as I said multiple times in this thread, a race is only mentioned if it is actually mentioned, and mentions need to be spoken aloud, not thought of, not included in narration, mentioned out loud only. It's different than an appearance, where if a race appears, then it obviously appears.

As for locations, if a city is mentioned, but not the State, then the city is mentioned, but not the State. It isn't rocket science, please stop making up stuff that isn't being said by anyone in the comic. Thanks.

• Jasonmaia. I have a challenge question. Who is handsome? Thor or Viper from Wolverine 2013 film?

• The rights of the mutants are held by Fox, so in the films of the mutants (including Wolverine) there could not be any presence of Thor or other heroes whose rights were held by Disney (of which it is also the owner). This at least until the next acquisition of Fox by Disney (or at least these are the news that come to us here in Italy)

• In your opinion, which Marvel character is handsome? Captain America or Thor?

Three answer choice: a.) Thor b.) Captain America c.) Both are handsome

Which letter you choose?

• Hey Just so you are aware reprint issues (such as Essential Series Vol 1, Marvel Tales Vol 2 etc) are not to have appearance tags due to this cluttering the appearances category. I can't find where we discussed this at the moment, but we did

• Recently, a new user has been replacing covers with new, higher quality versions. This is a feature normally reserved for admins and mods, or so we thought. We were wondering if other users also have access to this feature so if you could try and upload the following image:

https://previewsworld.com/SiteImage/CatalogImage/STL099722?type=1

with the file name: Immortal Hulk Vol 1 9 Textless.jpg

to test if things are working properly that would be great. Thanks!

      Loading editor
• I can confirm that for me it is not possible to upload the new image but it gives me "Dowload Error" for "A file with this name already exists, and cannot be overwritten. If you still want to upload your file, please go back and use a new name." even if I put the check on "Ignore any warnings".

On the other hand, just change the suffix (as you've just noticed by adding twice jpg.jpg) allows me to load the image

• Hey, I noticed that you added the appearances for Jessica Jones - Marvel Digital Original #3. The appearances list includes the mention that two characters whose current articles reflect the fact that they seemingly died are actually alive (White Rabbit and Skein). Could you please update their articles to reflect this new information?

Thanks.

• Is there a reason you changing the links from FuckFace (Earth-200111) to "DuckFace"? Is the version you're reading with the latter name?

      Loading editor
• I agree with the admin AnnabellRice, not being able to modify and/or add new edits in the pages where FuckFace's name appeared because it was considered offensive and/or vulgar, she suggested modifying the name by replacing the F with the D, so the edit could be done and then she would later correct the FuckFace name

• Yep, just a temporary filter workaround.
