  • Hey I've read the comic, shouldn't this be the same Sharon? why are we making a page for a different Sharon? looks to me like this is a comic telling her story and giving her a reality designation.

    • CoC does give background to characters, yes I understand what you mean, when the next issue and the patch comes out well know it better, no worries.

Yeah, worst case scenario, I just copy and paste Sharon Rogers (Earth-TRN012) over to Sharon Rogers (Earth-415) and ask someone to delete the original.

No biggie. But thanks for asking. :)

  • Hello Edward. I have also put the timeline in Marvel Universe Reading Order Part 19. So i think we should only have it there, becuase there are more people on the wiki that nows about that site. And we could edit that together.

PS. Here [1] can you see that i already have asking him about it. And that are months ago.

  • Please, whenever you upload a new image, be sure to follow these three simple steps:

    1) Be sure the image name acts in accordance with our site's Naming Conventions.

    2) Once the image is uploaded, please don't forget licensing.

    • If you uploaded it through the Special:Upload function, make use of the "Licensing (Required)" dropdown feature before clicking "Upload File," so it can be legally displayed on the wiki.
    • If you uploaded it through the "Add a photo to this gallery" function on the bottom of galleries, or you didn't select any licensing option in the dropdown feature of Special:Upload, you'll have to add the licensing manually. Go to the uploaded image and click "Edit," you'll see two rows of buttons to insert templates or format functions. Click on the button that has a single polaroid photograph on it (found in the bottom row), and the template will be added. Be sure to fill in the "License" field with the respective license. Most common licenses are "Comic Single Panel," "Comic Cover," "TV Screenshot" and "Movie Screenshot." If the licensing you added is not valid, the image will still appear as unlicensed.

    3) Whether the image template with licensing has been added automatically or has been inserted manually on the image, please be sure to fill in the respective fields there are, including "Source," "Universe," "Subject#," etc. to help sort it out.

    Thanks!

When merging the pages, I think we shoul rename their files to something like "Ghost Rider (Undead G-Man) alternate costume from Marvel Future Fight 001.jpg", and put them in the notes or trivia section with a note about it.

Well, Undead G-Man is already on Ghost Rider's page so there's really no need to merge that.

As for Deathlok and the 2099 Uniforms, I think we should at least keep the images named as is, since it is still an image of a different character (plus it'd open a can of worms about possibly renaming many of the alternate costume images) and like you said mention the uniform in a trivia point on Cap, Iron Man, Widow and Deathlok's pages.

Angela's witch hunter outfit should definitely be renamed to Aldrif Odinsdottir and just merged without a note IMO. In fact, I would suggest we just give Witch Hunter Angela as an alias for Angela (like Maestro for Hulk, or like I just added, Undead G-Man for Ghost Rider), since in-game it pretty much is an alias. And then just rename that image "Aldrif Odinsdottir (Earth-TRN012) from Marvel Future Fight 002.jpg" (since it's the first alternate uniform introduced) and rename the current 002.jpg (the Queen of Hel alt) as 003.jpg, since it was introduced later.

    • No, they aren't different characters. Just like the others, they are alternate costumes, nothing less, nothing more.

Giving those characters an alias that isn't used by them in-game isn't accurate as they don't appear as said characters in the story.

Even though Witch Hunter Angela is an alternate version of Angela (Aldrif Odinsdottir), they are not the same. Their background is totally different from one another. For example: Angela (Aldrif Odinsdottir)'s name is Aldrif Odinsdottir, Angela being the name given to her by the Queen of Heven's handmaiden, Loriel, who raised her among the Angels of the Tenth Realm, Heven, after her presumed death at the Queen's hands; while Witch Hunter Angela's name is just Angela, she's human, and was raised by the Holy Order to hunt everything unholy. Comparing them would be like comparing Gwen Stacy to Spider-Gwen. They have become their own characters, so that's not fair to treat them as being the same character.

All of those characters who have alternate costumes who are based on a different character should have their images renamed to reflect what I proposed, and have a note left in the trivia section.

  • Please, when you create a page be sure to add enough information so it's not just a stub. Including the history text helps quite a lot, considering it's the most imporant part of an article.

    Thank you.

Well, BMB liked my tweet about me wanting Jessica Jones to show up as Jewel in Ultimate Spider-Man, so we could always get someone like Punisher. Though to be fair, even if it wasn't the 12041 version, we did in fact see him in the cartoon, so there's always hope.

    • Yeah. I do find it weird he was used first in an alternate universe before appearing in the actual universe of the series.
