History

Mentor and Thanos were the children of the Scientist Supreme of the Titan system, each genetically engineered for a different purpose. Mentor's purpose was the furtherance of science and learning, easily making him his father's favorite, at least in the eyes of Thanos.

Notes

• In the series, Mentor was Thanos's brother instead of his father. According to episode scripts for the unreleased season 2, their father would have been a separate character named Alars (Mentor's true name in the comics).
