History
Mechano was an over-sized robot (approximately 30 feet tall) created inside the workshop of an old man named Mister Hopkins and his young assistant Tommy Briggs. Mechano represented an astonishing achievement in the field of mechanical engineering, notably for the fact that he was comprised primarily of scrap metal and spare electronics. Hopkins and Tommy entered Mechano in the local Industrial Fair. At the fair, Mechano was exposed to a malfunctioning transformer and suddenly sparked to life. He began running amok, terrorizing innocent civilians.
