Maurice Greely was a lawyer who had some past contact with Matt Murdock, with Matt stating that he considered Greely trustworthy. During the Civil War, Captain America approached Greely to leave him a vital letter, with instructions that it should be delivered to Tony Stark in the event of Rogers' death. Greely informed Stark that the letter revealed Steve's final wishes, which Steve had wanted kept private and just between the two of them.[1]
