Peter Parker[src]

History

Mary Jane was a servant in the Osborn castle. She made friends with Peter, and over time developed feelings for him, even though Peter never noticed and didn't return them, being in love with Princess Gwendolyne. When Lord Osborn threatened to fire her, if she didn't polish her armor within a day, Mary Jane despaired of having to clean a lot of Lady Felicia's laundry already.[1] Fortunately, Peter offered to help her clean the armor.[1] While they worked, Mary Jane told Peter that the Osborns had to look their best, to attend a dance that the king would give, to look for a husband for his daughter. Peter asked her to help him infiltrate the palace, but she refused.[1] On the night of the dance Osborn ordered Peter to clean the stables, and Mary Jane offered to replace him, without suspecting that Peter would take the opportunity to go to the dance disguised as Prince of Arachne, conquering the heart of the princess.[1] Since no one had seen the Prince of Arachne in the face Norman and his son Harry decided to assassinate him and make Harry take his place.[1] Meanwhile while cleaning Peter's room, Mary Jane found the armor and joined by her friend urged him to tell the truth to Gwen. Peter then understood the girl's feelings, but she said that Peter and Gwen had chosen each other by now, and when Harry stole part of the armor to pass himself off as Peter, Mary Jane told him where he could find a horse.[1]Eventually the princess was killed by Norman Osborn, and immediately vindicated by Peter, who was later appointed heir to the throne. Mary Jane is last seen, crying in bed clutching a part of Peter's armor, begging him to return to her.[1]
