Synopsis for "A Witch is Among Us!"

An old woman rents a room to a man who claims to be a doctor writing a book, but when babies begin disappearing, the woman suspects that a witch is conducting infant sacrifice in order to lengthen her life. The townspeople suspect another old woman of being a witch and burn down her house with her inside. The victim's granddaughter survives and asks for help from the doctor. He suggests that she return to the house so that he may administer a sedative to the distraught girl. After another infant is stolen the old woman suspects the granddaughter of being a witch as well, and bursts into the doctor's room to warn him, only to discover the doctor conducting a evil ritual about to sacrifice the infant. He has the young girl bound and gagged as he intends to scapegoat her for the crime. The old woman snatches the baby from his grasp and flees the house with the witch in pursuit. As he entreats her to return the infant to him, he begins to age rapidly, until he ultimately collapses into a pile of dust.

Synopsis for "The End of the World"

In the year 2423 a pacifist scientist attempts to halt the plans of the united Earth government from attacking the newly-discovered peaceful Martians. He tells the ruler that the blast of his magnetic force weapon is too powerful for Earth and must be tested on the moon. When the test is conducted there is no blast, and the ruler thinks that he's been tricked. The scientist reveals that the blast occurred on the dark side on the moon to shift it out of its orbit and send it crashing into Earth. The moon shatters into fragments, after playing havoc with the tides, and everyone on Earth is killed except for the scientist who feels that he did what he had to do in order to spare other beings Earth's tyranny.
