Shouldn't there be an "advertisement" on the Main Page for this thing?

Definitely will be promoting this more.

To be honest, there are some big changes coming in the next couple of days.

I will be working on this behind the scenes, but you should see the results of the revamp by the end of the weekend. :)

The voting booth is just one of many, many, many new areas...

Improvements (suggestion)

If I might, I'd like to suggest some instructions or anything, including (Basing on Wikipedia's project page on the subject:

• Featured articles criteria: "Must include images", "must include a template", "must include a behind-the-scenes section"
• Instructions on how to nominate and how to vote (maybe even with an example for the first days)
• Explanation on the vote counting systems: "Any article with more than 10 votes will be queued", or "The most voted after a week will become featured", or "Any valid objection forfeits the article, until it is resolved"
• An archive of past featured articles and rejected candidates (perhaps as a hyperlink.
