Manual Overrides

| Canceled = Causes the template to forever show as a solicitation. Add anything to use it.
| BlockQuote = MULTIPLE QUOTATION : (Use
{{Quote|$QUOTE|$SPEAKER}} for each quote. This is an override of
Quotation for instances where multiple quotes are necessary).

Difference between parameters Event, StoryArc, Storyline and PartOf

For line-wide events (for example, Dawn of X) and events that happens in one mini-series (for example, Civil War (Event)) parameters Event1 - Event9 could be used to list them. They would be displayed at the very top of the infobox. Same is for story arcs and storylines that have all issues in one series. Parameters StoryArc1 - StoryArc9 and Storyline1 - Storyline9 could be used for them.

For stories that span over different volumes (for example, Endangered Species), as well as for issues with multiple stories that are part of different arcs, new parameters should be used instead for each specific story. For example, for 1st story:

  • PartOf1 - page name of the event/story arc/storyline.
  • PartOf1_Type - event, story arc or storyline. Template can automatically get the type, if page exists.
  • PartOf1_Number - number of the story in event/story arc/storyline. (i.e., if this story is first part of the event, then PartOf1_Number = 1).
  • PartOf1_Previous - page name of previous issue in event/story arc/storyline.
  • PartOf1_Next - page name of next issue in event/story arc/storyline.
