History

Nanny to Luna Maximoff during Luna's stay at Avengers Mansion; formerly served as nanny to the Royal Family of the Inhumans; deceased. Marilla was a servant in the Inhuman Royal Family's employ for decades, serving as nursemaid to Crystal and, later, to Crystal's daughter, Luna. When Crystal joined the Avengers and moved into Avengers Mansion with Luna, Marilla accompanied them to take care of Luna. She became close friends with Jarvis, the Avengers' butler and chief of staff, and sometimes assisted him in the maintenance of Avengers headquarters. She was eventually murdered by Avengers member Iron Man, who had fallen under the mental influence of Immortus at the time, killing several Avengers associates as part of a scheme to demoralize and disorient the group.
