History
Madu was a Lemurians and was the leader of his kind in New Atlantis,[1] and hated Namor and his allies, "old men and surface spawn".[2]
Krang attempted to recruit him as part of his scheme against Namor.[1] During the next Running of the Beasts, the monsters parading sparted rampaging, but were stopped by Krang and his Lemurian Legion.[3] As Krang was losing grasp upon his Atlantean second-in-command Selach, who had slain the Logomancer (whom Krang intended to use to control the Burrower to threaten Namor without unleashing the beast's wrath), Selach departed with Madu. As Madu was gleefully torturing the Burrower to excite it, Krang turned to Namor and they joined forces to attack the rebels' base. Madu rushed at Krang who swiftly slew him,[2] though his Lemurians kept on the fighting alongside Selach and his followers,[2] until Selach was vanquished and Krang offered to Namor to appease them, in exchange of the position of Minister of War.[4]
