History
A cult worshipping Ludi kidnapped Lenore Wilkins and prepared her to be his new bride. The ceremony was interrupted by Murdoch Adams, who scared Ludi away with the loud noise of his pistol. Adams rushed to a church to perform the "rite of exorcismorum". Ludi busted in and killed the priest. Adams attacked Ludi with an old sledgehammer, which did nothing until the rotted end broke and the head flew off and hit the church bell. The loud peal hurt Ludi. Noticing this, Adams kept ringing the bell until Ludi fled through a portal of blackness. The pealing bell shattered the portal, banishing Ludi from returning to Earth.[1]
Later, empowered by the Dweller-in-Darkness to fight Dr. Strange, Ludi had Strange beaten until Clea threw the Ebony Blade at Ludi. The sword weakened Ludi, and Dr. Strange was able to use it to defeat the demon. Ludi fled through a magic portal.[2]Attributes
