Levi Weinlaub was a young Jewish boy in Warsaw during WWII. One night, he, Max Eisenhardt and Avner were smuggling food for their families.
When they got to a wall, Max and Levi got through it, but Avner was caught by Nazi soldiers before he could pass. Herr Hitzig falsely offered Avner the chance to get his family fresh food in exchange for the names of the people who had gone with him. Avner gave him the name of Levi. From the other side of the wall, Max and Levi were listening what was happening. Max told Levi to go warn his family, and that was the last he saw of him.[1]
