Synopsis for "King Kull"Edit

A retrospective review, with text and illustrations (2 pages).

  • Thomas is editor, Conway is associate editor, Wein and Wolfman are consulting editors.
  • Mike Whelan's first printed work in comics. He painted a Conan illustration and Roy Thomas purchased it, for possible use by Marvel. Kull and the Barbarians came up for print and Thomas had Whelan paint a scar on Conan's face, making him look like Kull. An excellent cover, even though there is no story, inside to go along with it.
