  1. Though the original Destroyer was Kevin Marlow, it was later retconned that Roger Aubrey also used the identity. Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A to Z #3 does not explicitly state that Aubrey was the Destroyer shown in this issue, but it seems a reasonable assumption: OHotMU A-Z #3 places Aubrey's Destroyer in Berlin in Kid Komics #4 and Kid Komics #6, while Marlow's Destroyer was in the Pacific theatre at this time, as shown in U.S.A. Comics #13, Amazing Comics #1 and Mystic Comics (Vol. 2) #12.
