History

Kerry Patrick served as an assistant to Gary Cody in the early days of Department H. Patrick was later assigned as the governmental liaison to Alpha Flight when it was funded by the Canadian government for a third time. He oversaw the creation of the new Department H complex outside Toronto. He also had to contend with General Clarke, the military liaison, who wanted some drastic changes made to Alpha Flight.

Trivia

• In a podcast interview Fabian Nicieza mentioned, that when he envisioned the reveal that Northstar is gay, it would have been a domestic scene between him and Kerry, his partner. However he left the book before that reveal happened (in a very different way) in Alpha Flight #106.
