Personal History

Whitley attended the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, and graduated with a bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Creative Writing. He currently lives with his wife Alicia and daughter Zuri in Raleigh, North Carolina. He's a big fan of movies, video games, comics, and literature.[1]

Professional History

Jeremy Whitley is a freelance comic book writer known for his work on Marvel's Secret Love and the original comic series Illegal. Whitley has as also worked on several young adult and children's comics such as his Eisner Nominated original comic series "Princeless" its spin-off "Raven: The Pirate Princess" and creator owned properties such as IDW's "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic".[2]

In 2011 Jeremy joined Action Lab Entertainment as their official Director of Marketing and head of PR, where he handles solicitations, reviews, press releases, and interviews. Jeremy has also co-written licensed properties from the publisher including the 2012 digital mini-series "GlobWorld", "NFL RushZone" and " The Order of Dagonet".[3][4]
