History
Tony's new friend Annie Claremont (Jean Grey) turned out to be a mutant on the run from Magneto, who wanted to use her abilities to assassinate Senator Robert Kelly, an anti-mutant politician. With help from Tony and his friend Rhodey Rhodes, Jean was able to subdue Magneto. Professor Xavier later arrived to take Jean to his school for mutants.[1]

Trivia
- Her alias is a reference to her childhood friend from the comics Annie Richardson and X-Men creator Chris Claremont.
- Unlike most of her dimensional counterparts, Jean has brown eyes instead of green.
