Janaro was a god and childhood friend of Shadrak.
When Gorr the God Butcher and his Black Berserkers came to the Diamond Moons of Oghogho, they slaughtered their Pantheon. While Gorr was murdering Janaro, Shadrak managed to escape.[1]Notes
While Shadrak stated that Janaro was the God of Friendship, he hesitated when stating such, as much as he hesitated when lying about his real domain.[1] It is possible to assume that Janaro was the God of a more brutal subject, as was shown when Shadrak was revealed to be the God of Bombs.[2]
