History

After Alpha Flight re-captured Wolverine, he stayed with them after most of the X-Men were killed. Placed in charge of Alpha Flight, Wolverine was forced to use his intelligence and grew into a true leader.

Wolverine and Alpha Flight were sent to New York City to rescue Jean Grey from the Hellfire Club. Once there, she revealed herself as the Dark Phoenix and Wolverine killed her.
