History

In the Cancerverse, Death was eradicated and life grew unchecked. Old demons and tumorous monstrosities were common in the reality on the other side of the Fault. While investigating the Fault, the Imperial Guard and Starjammers encountered "Ex-Men" -- Wolverine and the other mutants hopelessly and horrifically mutated by life unchecked.

Wolverine presumably died when Death entered the Cancerverse and killed off all of its inhabitants.
