H.E.R.B.I.E. was protecting the Baxter Building when Spider-Man arrived. After five members of the Sinister Six used the Time Platform in order to kill Spider-Man in the past, but were actually scattered across time, H.E.R.B.I.E. assisted Spider-Man in going after them in order to protect history.
