Synopsis for "Duck! Duck! Loose!"
One year ago, Roberta was looking through a telescope at Galactus, Squirrel Girl, and Tippy-Toe.
Now, the Stranger restrained Howard on his ship and planned to unlock a portal to untold universes. Scout, Herald of Galactus, approached the Stranger's ship, stole Howard, and took him to Galactus, who declared that Scout was not his herald. Scout wanted to prove herself to Galactus and brought him Howard, a Living Nexus of All Realities. Galactus declared Howard his new hearld, much to Scout's anger and the Silver Surfer approached them and confronted her, as she was imbued with his cosmic power.
Scout revealed that five months ago, she met Alicia Masters. She claimed that she sourced a piece of the Silver Surfer's Power Cosmic, unlocked it and wanted to become Galactus' herald and cure his hunger. Galactus planned to leave the universe with Howard before he was confronted by the Thing. Then, Galactus was surrounded by a fleet of ships that he subsequently destroyed, allowing the Silver Surfer to take Howard. Galactus blasted the Silver Surfer off of his board, allowing Howard to surf to the C.I.T.T., where he was reunited with Tara. Shocket revealed that their engines were dead, but were going faster than ever. The Guardians planned to go to Collecton to rescue the prisoners, but the C.I.T.T. was attacked by the Collector, who took Howard again. As the Collector introduced himself, Howard prepared to fight him.
