Gorro was a creation of Dr. Grimm, a mad physician who had delusions that he would become a master criminal by using his creations to commit crimes. Learning that he was treating Bucky, the sidekick of Captain America, he allowed Captain America to come to rescue the boy to pit him against his creature. When Gorro's strength proved superior to Captain America's, Bucky grabbed Grimm's pistol and shot the creature point blank in the face, killing it. Grimm was slain shortly afterward, ending his criminal reign before it could even begin.
