History

Gorn was an ancient and renowned[1] Valusian[2] warrior living together with his wife, Linnea, in an isolated part of Virginia somewhere in secluded wooded hills. Having lived in the same glade for ten thousand years. They came from an unknown corner of the world in order to escape an unidentified threat and Linnea used her powers to keep them young and hide the couple from the rest of the world. In the meantime, civilization grew around them over the course of millennia.

Gorn became restless, he considered himself a warrior, not a farmer, and wanted to leave their quiet life behind. So they set out and ended up in now the modern world of Washington, D.C.. Their rowdy presence in the capital attracted a lot of side-eyes and they were unable to communicate properly with the local population. Gorn caused a major scene in a restaurant they just entered when someone bothered his wife, as result, they were forced to leave the establishment. Upon leaving the joint, a homesick Linnea wanted to return to their cottage, but Gorn wanted to relive his old glory days instead. Subsequently, in a squabble with a nearby police officer, Gorn accidentally hit his wife prompting her to fly away in anguish. Now alone, the despondent warrior walked alone at night through the D.C. streets but he was assailed by muggers. He easily defended himself, but was shot seven times by local police officers straight up killing him.

A few minutes later, Linnea found his corpse and in retribution, she started attacking the law enforcement, which in turn attracted the attention of the Avengers. Over the course of the fight, Captain America managed to stand her down. The grief-stricken wife walked away and returned to her husband. Despite unable to understand each other's language, Linnea could hear the compassion in Captain America's voice and decided to forgive him, but only him. She teleported herself away leaving her dead husband behind. Never to be heard from again.[1]
