History
Galacta is the daughter of Galactus who has been hiding on Earth as a human teenager.
She has the same powers as that of her father and can consume worlds. However, she is trying to find a way to stop her hunger.
Living on Earth, Gali or rather Galacta is the estranged daughter of the mighty World-Devourer known as Galactus and like her father she has an insatiable appetite for life-force energies. But unlike her father, Gali has found other ways to sate her appetite without having to destroy entire worlds. Using her cosmic powers and highly advanced technology, Gali helps people all across the world by consuming extraterrestrial viruses such as the flesh-devouring Skrull Prion which gave the original members of The Skrull Kill Krew their powers. Not to mention the ancient Biosphere Killing Bioweapons such as the genetically re-engineered Thermophile Lithometallovores that had been left to breed in the Earth's core by the Kree countless centuries ago. Gali has also been known to help occasionally against non-edible dangers, such as using her powers to deflect a cosmic ray burst, and preventing an alternate reality beings from shaping the Earth more to their desires.
Recently however her attempts to keep her hunger under control have turned into a struggle that she is losing, the first signs of this problem began when her mind literally started analyzing anything she would see on television and deduce how much it would sate her hunger by consuming it. As time passed the hunger began to grow worse and she began suffering from severe stomach pain, this led Gali to perform an examination on herself using her technology to discover the source of the problem. Her examination reveals that she has been infected with an extradimensional endosymbiotic energy parasite called the "Tapeworm Cosmic" who, like her father, originated in a Universe that existed prior to Earth-616.
Unable to keep the ancient and voracious parasite from intensifying her appetite, amplifying her metabolism and accelerating the burn rate of her Power Cosmic reserves by herself Gali opened a Quantum Entanglement Commline to the only being in the Universe capable of dealing with the insidious parasite; her father Galactus.
When he would not do so, she sought out the only device in the universe capable of harming her kind, the Ultimate Nullifier. After obtaining it, she attempted to use it to destroy the parasite(and herself in the process), only to be stopped by her father who revealed that the "parasite" was nothing of the sort; to put it simply, she was pregnant.

Galacta possesses the Power Cosmic. A few of the abilities she has displayed are:
- Levitation: Galacta can make herself float and move through the air.
- Energy Control & Manipulation: Galacta can control, manipulate and channel pure energy of a wide variety of forms, such as diverting a cosmic-ray burst similar to the one that created the Fantastic Four and using her power to redirect a large asteroid on course for earth.
- Molecular Restructuring: The ability to physically alter persons or objects through the manipulation of their comprising molecules.
- Cosmic Teleportation: The ability to teleport beings and objects across space and time. This ability also allows her to teleport herself.
- Cosmic Awareness: The ability to sense disturbances or changes within the cosmic ether on a universal scale.
- Hyper-Acceleration: The ability to speed up her perception, effectively making normal-speed events appear drastically slower to her and allowing her to act at a similarly rapid rate.
- Cloaking: The ability to hide herself or just her equipment from the senses of others.

Like her father, Galacta has access to advanced technology like:
- Sensor Array: A highly advanced sensor array, claimed to be the most advanced in existence, used by Galacta to find suitable biomass for consumption. Galacta prefers use these sensors instead of her own cosmic awareness because it uses less energy and doesn't fuel her hunger.
- Feeding beams: Part of her suit's array includes beam emitters Gali refers to as her 'utensils' that allow her to feed on bio-mass with a great deal of precision and from a distance.
- Blog: She regularly updates her blog-page/diary, where she uses the alias "Gali_Girl". However it hasn't been updated since 2009.
- Special Glasses: Galacta uses a wide range of glasses to hide her unique eyes.
