Synopsis for "Snap Decisions"
On Cobra Island, Serpentor arrives with the transport convoy from Springfield and the twins arrange for their Crimson Guardsmen to assassinate him. However, Serpentor foils their plan by landing at a vulnerable point and embracing Cobra Commander, making it impossible for the snipers to hit him. Serpentor then makes a speech and gains popularity among the troops, frustrating Cobra Commander who cannot do anything to deal with the super-soldier without causing a revolt.
Meanwhile, Storm Shadow surprises the Joes at the Pit by suddenly appearing from the roof. He demonstrates his skills and then approaches Snake-Eyes, requesting to speak to him alone. Scarlett knows Snake-Eyes's heart and doesn't leave, and Storm Shadow reveals that he was used to create Serpentor and wants a safe haven to restore his health and more. Snake-Eyes gives him a key to a place in the mountains.
Cobra Commander dispatches Zartan and the Dreadnoks, disguised as Joes, to attack Serpentor's quarters. The Baroness jumps in front of Serpentor and is almost killed by Zarana, but Destro arrives with a squad of troopers. Later, Serpentor thanks Cobra Commander for creating the circumstances that led to the troops attacking the Pit, reminding his foe how he cannot get rid of such a popular Cobra member.
