Synopsis for "Unfoldings!"
In the midst of chaos and alarms, Scarlett is plagued with guilt, fearing she killed Hawk and Stalker. Cobra Commander is on a mission to find Destro and Baroness within the hidden passages of the castle, as Scarlett and Dr. Biggles-Jones spearhead the search for the duo. Meanwhile, Hawk briefs Storm Shadow and Snake-Eyes before their daring parachute drop into Trans-Carpathia, warning them to treat Scarlett as an enemy if they encounter her during the mission.
Destro, in a cunning move, morphs the castle into an unfamiliar version that only he knows, just as Snake-Eyes and Storm Shadow land on the castle grounds. Scarlett and Dr. Biggles-Jones experience the consequences of the transformation first hand when the floor collapses beneath them, forcing them to focus on restoring the castle to its original state. Unbeknownst to them, the massive transformation has attracted the attention of Megatron, who believes the castle may be another Transformer like himself.
As Destro and Baroness fight their way to the top of the castle, Storm Shadow and Snake-Eyes prepare to rescue them. However, their escape is complicated when Scarlett and Dr. Biggles-Jones arrive, attempting to halt their progress. In a shocking turn of events, Snake-Eyes stabs Scarlett in the chest, and the group manages to escape. Snake-Eyes is deeply troubled by his actions, but Hawk reassures him that Scarlett will come to understand that Snake-Eyes wouldn't have missed without a reason.
Cobra Commander discovers the outcome of the intense battle just as Megatron descends from the sky in a fit of rage, furious that the castle is not a fellow Decepticon. In an attempt to capitalize on the situation, Cobra Commander quickly tries to strike a deal with the powerful Megatron, setting the stage for an unexpected alliance.
