History
The French Riviera is part of France's southeastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea, reaching from Cassis to Menton, at the border with Italy.
Law enforcement organization S.H.I.E.L.D. originally managed all of its Mediterranean branch from a complex in the Riviera. Discovering it, enemy organization Hydra sent their agent Arachne to raid it and rescue Hydra agent Jared Kurtz, a prisoner there. Once there, however, SHIELD showed Arachne information that proved that Hydra had lied to her; Arachane left.[1] After that, as the location had been compromised, SHIELD may have chosen to abandon it.Points of Interest
