Appearances: Captain America #619 Vadim was a former KGB agent who had turned to the illicit trafficking. The Black Widow contacted him in order to get Barnes to escape and for that she did him the favor of eliminating the competition.

Valerie

	Appearances: Iron Man #24 Valerie attended a roulette game which was won by Tony Stark.
	Appearances: X-Men: Liberators #1, X-Men: Liberators #2, & X-Men: Liberators #4 Valerie was a soldier who was afraid of Nikolas while in Province 13. He later ran across Wolverine while he was patrolling the woods around Province 13. Valerie was then assigned to watch over Omega Red.

Valencia

Appearances: Punisher (Vol. 2) #2 Señor Valencia was a honest drug enforcement agent, who was kidnapped by Buktir Van Tranh. He helped Punisher to dismantle the Rockhouse Operation.

Van

	Appearances: Lorna the Jungle Queen #2 An amateur hunter on a safari in the jungles of the Congo led by the expert Greg Knight, both were rescued first by a lion and then by the elephant Killer Rogue thanks to the intervention of Lorna.
	Appearances: Punisher War Journal #53 He was among the members of the Sword of Liberty who tried to flush out the Punisher but was easily overwhelmed by him and was killed when he was used by the Punisher as a human shield.

Van Aster

Appearances: Captain America Comics #39 A wealthy lady to whom Detective Trapp helped solve the case of the attempted theft of her precious necklace.

Van Boom

Appearances: Ms. Marvel (Vol. 3) #8 Mrs. Van Boom was Kamala Khan's social studies teacher at Coles Academic High School.

Van De Vere

Appearances: Marvel Mystery Comics #28 Dr. Van De Vere was one of the scientists to whom Dr. Korbeau eliminated the soul by putting him under his total control.

Van Der Lear

Appearances: Daredevil #182 Mrs. Van Der Lear was assisted by Foggy Nelson for a custody case.

Van Der Twilliger

Appearances: Amazing Spider-Man #22 Mrs. Van Der Twilliger went to visit the art exhibition organized by J. Jonah Jameson and there he praised his admiration for the famous editor.

Van Dorn

Appearances: Fantastic Four #15 Van Dorn and his colleague Cartwright were two executives of General Electronics, the company who were present when Roger decided to hire Reed Richards.

Van Helsing

Appearances: Dracula Lives #12 The Tavern Master of a small Transylvanian village near the castle of Count Dracula's castle, he was the father of Rachel van Helsing in the 15th Century and the first of the van Helsings of whom she was aware.

Van Heusen

Appearances: Doctor Strange #169 Mrs. Van Heusen was one of the wealthiest women in New York who needed a few surgeries for which Stephen Strange, in the midst of his career as a surgeon, was trying to carry out himself in order to enter the circle of wealthy people; it was just as he was going to a party at Mrs. Van Heusen's house that Strange had the accident with his sports car that he maimed his hands and led to a radical change in his life to the point of becoming the "Master of Mystic Arts" and then "Sorcerer Supreme".

Van Horn

Appearances: Sub-Mariner Comics #16 A rich elderly woman was killed by her nephew to collect the inheritance.

Van Hosen

Appearances: Wolverine/Doop #2 Professor Van Hosen is the most expert on Pink Mink and its sultry periphenomenology.

Van Loan

Appearances: Captain America Comics #36 Mrs. Van Loan organized a party in honor of the Polish diplomat Mr. Raczkowski, and during the party the Leopard Woman kidnapped the New York water commissioner William Sands.

Van Puyster

Appearances: Patsy Walker #30 Mrs. Van Puyster was a rich elderly lady who agreed to finance the construction of a playground for children.

Van Schuyler

Appearances: Apache Kid #15 The owner of a ranch in Culver City that was assaulted by the rustlers and for which his young son Percy to prove his worth went hunting for the rustler alone.

Van Schyler

Appearances: All Winners Comics #14 She and her husband Roddy organized a reception in their mansion in Florida in honor of the Mahrajah Shalimar and the Sub-Mariner was also invited. Mrs. Schyler was desperate after the Maharajah was robbed of her precious jewels at the reception.

Van Slyke

Appearances: Wolverine (Vol. 2) #9 Van Slyke was hunted and killed by Wolverine for torturing and abusing a Canadian nun in Iraq.

Van Vliet

Appearances: New Defenders #148 Captain Van Vliet was a wealthy antiquity collector called the spouses Hellstrom and the Defenders Beast and Gargoyle to investigate the disappearance of an ancient mystical relic. While the detectives were arguing, Van Vliet committed suicide in his bedroom giving clues to Minerva Bannister's guilt.

Vana

Appearances: Ghost Rider/Wolverine/Punisher: The Dark Design #1 Vana was eventually defeated by the Ghost Rider.

Vandeveer

Appearances: Sgt. Fury #15 Vandeveer was a villager on the Dutch coast. After being captured by the Gestapo, he begged Mayor Rooten but Rooten replied that he would do nothing and that he had himself to blame for passing a message to the resistance..

Vanga

Appearances: Ka-Zar: Lord of the Savage Land #1 Vanga and Bawka, two Fall People farmers, were tending the harvest for their tribe when they were attacked by a diseased T-Rex but luckily they were rescued by Matthew Plunder and Zabu.

Vanya

Appearances: Excalibur #56 Vanya was one of Sat-Yr-Nine's amazonian guards.

Venus

Appearances: Cage (Vol. 2) #1 Venus was a club stripper.

Varasdi

Appearances: Daredevil #319 Mrs. Varasdi was a divorced mother of two who came to Nelson and Murdock Law Office for an alimony request.

Vart

Appearances: A.X.E.: Eternals #1 Facing the Progenitor's judgment, Ajak was confronted with an illusion of Vart, a primitive being who was about to tell her how it was possible that there were humans in 1,000,000 BC but which she did not conclude by killing him.

Vasquez

Appearances: Punisher Summer Special #3 Vasquez was a member of the Psycho-Cops, a band of deranged pleasure killers who modified conventional paintguns and fired ball bearings instead of paintballs. Vasquez was killed by the Punisher as he made his napalm magazine explode.

Appearances: Fantastic Four (Vol. 3) #40, Fantastic Four (Vol. 3) #41, Fantastic Four (Vol. 3) #43 Vasquez was a member of the Gideon Trust's N-Explorers charged with eliminating any opposition in the Negative Zone while the Trust mined the place. During a simulation in an environment similar to the Negative Zone, Vasquez and other members of the N-Explorer opposed a simulation of Annihilus. Vasquez and the other N-Explorers opposed a horde of Negative Zone inhabitants who were protecting a temple where a power generator was stored which the Explorers appropriated and transported back to Earth. Back in the Negative Zone, the N-Explorers found themselves facing the real Annihilus and Vasquez was immediately killed by him.

Vazhin

Appearances: King in Black: Namor #2 Director Vazhin was a senior Soviet officer in charge of researching a mystical artifact found on the bottom of the Murmansk harbor and for which he requested the supervision of mystics. He was killed after the artifact released mystical energies that stormed the research center.

Appearances: Amazing Spider-Man #556, Amazing Spider-Man #557 A homeless guy on the run from S.H.I.E.L.D. who helped Spider-Man stop Wayep.

Vernon

	Appearances: Sentinel #7, Sentinel #9 Vernon was a survivor of a plane crash that helped Juston Seyfert.
	Appearances: Spider-Man/Doctor Octopus: Negative Exposure #1, Spider-Man/Doctor Octopus: Negative Exposure #2, Spider-Man/Doctor Octopus: Negative Exposure #3, Spider-Man/Doctor Octopus: Negative Exposure #4 Vernon was one of acquaintances of Doctor Octopus.

Veronica

Appearances: Spider-Man: The Final Adventure #2 Veronica was a TV reporter who covered the fight between Spider-Man and Tendril.

	Appearances: Iron Man #17 Vic spotted Tony Stark recharge his chestplate with a car battery and called the police, mistaking him for a thief.
	Appearances: Daredevil #326 Many years later, Vic and Wolfy were confronted and defeated by Daredevil for operating a bogus cash machine on the corner of 32nd and 3rd.
	Appearances: Web of Scarlet Spider #1 Being responsible for providing security, Vic was eliminated by Jason Tso's men when he and Orlando Kannor failed to steal some experimental computer chips, mostly to the unexpected appearance of the Scarlet Spider.
	Appearances: Ghost-Spider Annual #1 Vic was a classmate of Gwen Stacy's at Empire State University. Eve invited her to hang out with her, Vic, and their other two friends at Stews 'n' Sammies. Gwen initially declined, but ended up arriving up late to their get-together.
	Appearances: Darkhawk: Heart of the Hawk #1 Vic was a henchman of Phillipe Bazin in charge of accompanying his daughter Allegra to the theater where he was expected but while driving Vic lost control of the car and only thanks to the intervention of Darkhawk avoided running over passersby.

Appearances: Daredevil vs. Punisher #4 Mrs. Viccuci was a Salamanca informer who was warned by Daredevil.

Vicente

Appearances: Wolverine (Vol. 2) #36 & Wolverine (Vol. 2) #37 Vicente was one of the partisan revolutionaries who fought the Nazis alongside Logan and Puck in 1937. Vicente crossed the Eroica pass to get Puck to medical attention.

Vicki

Appearances: Captain America (Vol. 5) #25 Vicki announced on television the death of Captain America.

Victor

Appearances: Immortal Iron Fist #16 Victor was one of Sensei Rand's students at the Thunder Dojo.

Appearances: Ben Reilly: Scarlet Spider #2, Ben Reilly: Scarlet Spider #3, Ben Reilly: Scarlet Spider #4 Victor was a member of the mercenary team known as the Kill Crew. When Ben Reilly sent the Kill Crew after his fellow clone, the other Scarlet Spider, Victor and Whiskey watched over a warehouse where Scarlet Spider had kept Rita Clarkson kidnapped while Foxtrot and Tango attacked him directly, in case Scarlet Spider escaped and was to return to said location. When Scarlet Spider returned to the warehouse and noticed Clarkson was gone, Victor launched a missile from a rooftop nearby which exploded the building. However, Scarlet Spider escaped in the nick of time and attacked the mercenaries by surprise. After easily taking them down, Scarlet Spider threated them not to cross his path again, breaking Victor's hand in the process.

Victoria

Appearances: X-Force / Champions #'98 A member of the Cult of Hades, she manipulated X-Force and the Champions into a plot to resurrect the Titans that preceded the Olympians.

Appearances: Conan the Barbarian #155 Baron Vjerzak was Ramuda's local tyrant. He used to extort enormous wealth from the merchants upon threat of death, without any interference from the provincial governor, and to routinely abduct the wives and daughters of the townsfolk, using them to satiate his bestial lust. Before Conan's arrival in Ramuda, a valiant few had already attempted in vain to end the baron's reign of terror. He once had a wizened old Nemedian mage murdered, and made off with his magic globe and book of spells, practicing ever since to attain at least a working mastery of the mystic arts. Eventually confronted by Conan, he couldn't do much to protect his demon servant, Mrrsgarn, and was quickly defeated by the Cimmerian, who let him finish to the angry mob.

Appearances: Conan the Barbarian #168 Villardo was a hairy beast like human who was captured by Barenzo for his traveling freakshow. Despite being able to get free, he preferred to stay in chains, feeling safer than in the outside world. When he met Alhambra, Villardo changed his mind, releasing the bird-woman and then setting himself free to stay with her.

	Appearances: Journey Into Mystery #89 Vince was one of the mobsters who kidnapped Dr. Don Blake and Jane Foster to have them treat Thug Thatcher.
	Appearances: Marvel Team-Up #130 Vince was a policeman from Concord who witnessed the Scarlet Witch and Spider-Man (Peter Parker) inside a car driven by Andrew Pauncholito.
	Appearances: Crypt of Shadows (Vol. 3) #1 Vince was a boy who along with his partner Ravenette blocked a ghost in place to experiment on him until the ghost reacted and took over Ravenette. Brielle Brooks exorcised the ghost from Ravenette but discovered that the real victim was the ghost and feeling discovered Vince and Ravenette fled.

Vincent

	Appearances: All Winners Comics #16 Mr. Vincent was the head of the Chamber of Commerce but secretly he was also the leader of a racketeers organization that was exposed and defeated by the Sub-Mariner.
	Appearances: Marvel Mystery Comics #86 Vincent was a screenwriter who was being blackmailed by an actress, and for this reason Vincent killed her, but Blonde Phantom discovered the killer who confessed and was arrested.
	Appearances: Mystery Tales #14 Vincent, the driver of the wealthy Albert Rudley, plotted with Lorna, Albert's wife, to eliminate her husband and divide the inheritance, but despite several attempts failed to complete the plot.
	Appearances: X-Factor #-1 Vincent was a student in the town where the family who had adopted Alex Summers lived; instigated by Mr. Sinister, Vincent threatened to kill his adoptive family whereupon the stress of the situation brought out the mutant powers of Alex that he directed towards Vincent, killing him.
	Appearances: Incredible Hulk (Vol. 2) #22 Vincent was a debtor who was tortured by Nobby Foster.
	Appearances: Emma Frost #7, Emma Frost #8 Vincent was the maitre d' of a restaurant and watched as Emma Frost mentally made a waitress believe she had paid her bill and having discovered her scam forced Emma to pay her bill by having her wash the dishes. Vincent saw Emma rushing to the restaurant to warn Troy of Milo and Stu's arrival, trying in vain to stop her just as he couldn't stop the two henchmen from entering.
	Appearances: Ms. Marvel (Vol. 2) #1 Vincent and his friends were playing in the park while Stilt-Man collided with Ms. Marvel and the van that the criminal raised rushed towards the kids and was the intervention of Ms. Marvel who avoided the tragedy by saving Vincent and his friends.

Vinnie

	Appearances: Marvel Team-Up #119 Vinnie was a member of a gang of thugs who were stopped by Spider-Man and the Gargoyle as they attempted to assault an old lady. After being caught and left webbed, the police did not show up and when the web dissolved they fled and then attacked Nathan Lubensky at the Theatre District and were once again stopped and captured by Spider-Man.
	Appearances: Spider-Man #69 Dr. Vinnie was an underworld-connected doctor who worked for Hobgoblin.
	Appearances: Spider-Man #80 Vinnie was Hammerhead's personal chef.
	Appearances: Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes #1 Vinnie used to play pool with Clint Barton.

Vinny

Appearances: Deadpool Corps #10 Vinny was driving an Omega Confederation troop van but given the situation on Kagan 7 he was about to return to his base when he was attacked by Deadpool who confiscated the van but let him go without killing him.

Violet

	Appearances: Invincible Iron Man #17 Violet was a talk show host who interviewed Miriam Sharpe.
	Appearances: Emma Frost #5 Violet was a Frost House waitress who warned Emma, while she was looking after her mother, that there was a call for her and later asked Emma about the health of her brother Christian.

Vito

	Appearances: Journey Into Mystery #512 Vito and Sylvie attended a barbecue cooked by Vincent Starwit, the gargantuan gourmet, at Bryce Canyon National Park.
	Appearances: Spider-Man: Lifeline #3 Vito and Carmelo, two of Hammerhead's henchmen, were confronted by Spider-Man, who took the captured Eel away from them.

Vivian

Appearances: Amazing Spider-Man #322 King Stefan's fiancée, Vivian was murdered by ULTIMATUM's terrorist agents.

Vivienne

Appearances: Emma Frost #4 Mentions: Emma Frost #6 Vivienne was Winston Frost's secret lover whose daughter Emma discovered the affair and photographed during a holiday on the French Riviera.

Vlach

Appearances: Journey Into Mystery #95 Professor Vlach was an expert on physics who attended Lawrence Zaxton's convention.

Vladimir

	Appearances: Tales of Suspense #64 Vladimir was an armament expert who was tricked by Anthony Stark to examine some new weapons designs in exchange of Pepper Potts' and Happy Hogan's lives, but he was beaten and defeated by Iron Man.
	Appearances: Eternals (Vol. 3) #5 Vladimir was a soldier of Vorozheika who was ordered by Druig to bring the kidnapped scientists and those who betrayed him into the parliament house and watched as he forced the current prime minister to slit his own throat and the rest of the parliament to kill the "traitorous" scientists.

Voakes

Appearances: 15-Love #1, 15-Love #2, 15-Love #3 Voakes was the dean of the Wayde tennis academy who together with the vice dean and student development officer summoned Mill with the intention of expelling her from the academy for her poor tennis skills, but given Mill's determination gave her one last chance that she she would only stay at the academy if she won her next tennis match. Given Mill's improvements, Ms. Voakes offered Mill the last slot of the sixteen participants in the year-end tournament. Ms. Voakes bragged to Mr. Wayde, owner of the Wayde Tennis Academy, about Mill Collins' improvements by telling him that she was an example of what her academy could do for her students.

Vogal

Appearances: Marvel Zombies Supreme #3 Mrs. Vogal was a lady infected by the zombie Nuke, and when a firefighter decapitated her he apologized for doing so.

Volger

Appearances: Amazing Spider-Man #670 Volger was fired by Mayor J. Jonah Jameson during the Spider-Island crisis.

Volkof

Appearances: Kent Blake of the Secret Service #1 A Soviet spy who tried to appropriate engraving plates for American currency to forge money and bring down the American economy, but his plan fell apart thanks to the intervention of Kent Blake who killed Volkof by throwing it into an acid tank.

Volkov

Appearances: King in Black: Spider-Man #1 Mrs. Volkov was rescued by Reptil during the Symbiote assault on New York, although Spider-Man thought Reptil was a Symbiote Dragon who was attacking the old lady and in turn attacked Reptil, but soon after Spider-Man understood the misunderstanding and ended that with Reptil accompanied Mrs. Volkov to her home making sure she got there safely.

Volodin

Appearances: Elektra: Black, White & Blood #3 General Volodin was a Russian officer who presided over the Black Widows training center for the Red Room. He used Dr. Travkin's mind control device following Elektra's assault on the center, but it was revealed that Travkin was indeed a member of the Hand, and after Elektra destroyed the device she went to Volodin and knocked him down with a fist.

Von Boering

Appearances: Marvel Mystery Comics #46 Von Boering was the head of a group of German saboteurs intent on disrupting American industry and transportation. Von Boering and his men were discovered by Terry Vance who reported it to the F.B.I. who captured all the saboteurs.

Von Strudel

Mentions: Young Allies #1 Von Strudel warns Red Skull with a dispatch that every attempt to stop the Young Allies has failed and that they are in Berlin.

Vorster

Appearances: Fear Itself: The Home Front #1, Fear Itself: The Home Front #2 Vorster was the leader of the neo-Nazi group Hammer of Thule who committed various racist terrorist acts in Florida. Captured by the Agents of Atlas he confessed to being a descendant of the Thule Society who served Red Skull during World War II and revealed where their base was in Germany. Arriving at the base of the Thule Society, the presence of the Agents of Atlas awakened the security system of the place which consisted of heavily armed robots who started shooting wildly and Vorster was hit by a shot fired by the robots who killed him.

Vosuero

Appearances: Iron Man (Vol. 3) #4 Mr. Vosuero helped Anthony Stark coordinating the rescue efforts after Firebrand's attack.

VR-37

Appearances: Amazing Scarlet Spider #1 When Seward Trainer used the virtual reality visor to enter Cyberspace, Lady Octopus dispatched her virtual operative VR-37 to intercept him. Although he was defeated by the Scarlet Spider, he did succeed in rendering Seward comatose.

Vukov

Appearances: Tales of Suspense #42 Vukov was a Soviet soldier under the Red Barbarian that reported to him of the creation of the Disintegrator Ray by Tony Stark. The Red Barbarian became enraged with him when Vukov told him that he was not able to obtain the plans and threw a ham at him.
