When Ben Reilly sent the Kill Crew after his fellow clone, the other Scarlet Spider, Victor and Whiskey watched over a warehouse where Scarlet Spider had kept Rita Clarkson kidnapped while Foxtrot and Tango attacked him directly, in case Scarlet Spider escaped and was to return to said location.[51] When Scarlet Spider returned to the warehouse and noticed Clarkson was gone, Victor launched a missile from a rooftop nearby which exploded the building. However, Scarlet Spider escaped in the nick of time and attacked the mercenaries by surprise. After easily taking them down, Scarlet Spider threated them not to cross his path again, breaking Victor's hand in the process.[52]

He used to extort enormous wealth from the merchants upon threat of death, without any interference from the provincial governor, and to routinely abduct the wives and daughters of the townsfolk, using them to satiate his bestial lust. Before Conan's arrival in Ramuda, a valiant few had already attempted in vain to end the baron's reign of terror. He once had a wizened old Nemedian mage murdered, and made off with his magic globe and book of spells, practicing ever since to attain at least a working mastery of the mystic arts. Eventually confronted by Conan, he couldn't do much to protect his demon servant, Mrrsgarn, and was quickly defeated by the Cimmerian, who let him finish to the angry mob.[54]

A Soviet spy who tried to appropriate engraving plates for American currency to forge money and bring down the American economy, but his plan fell apart thanks to the intervention of Kent Blake who killed Volkof by throwing it into an acid tank.[87]

Volkov[]

Volkov (Earth-616) from King in Black Spider-Man Vol 1 1 0001 Appearances: King in Black: Spider-Man #1

Mrs. Volkov was rescued by Reptil during the Symbiote assault on New York, although Spider-Man thought Reptil was a Symbiote Dragon who was attacking the old lady and in turn attacked Reptil, but soon after Spider-Man understood the misunderstanding and ended that with Reptil accompanied Mrs. Volkov to her home making sure she got there safely.[88]

Volodin[]

Volodin (Earth-616) from Elektra Black, White & Blood Vol 1 3 001 Appearances: Elektra: Black, White & Blood #3

General Volodin was a Russian officer who presided over the Black Widows training center for the Red Room. He used Dr. Travkin's mind control device following Elektra's assault on the center, but it was revealed that Travkin was indeed a member of the Hand, and after Elektra destroyed the device she went to Volodin and knocked him down with a fist.[89]

Von Boering[]

Von Boering was the head of a group of German saboteurs intent on disrupting American industry and transportation. Von Boering and his men were discovered by Terry Vance who reported it to the F.B.I. who captured all the saboteurs.[90]

Vorster[]

Vorster was the leader of the neo-Nazi group Hammer of Thule who committed various racist terrorist acts in Florida. Captured by the Agents of Atlas he confessed to being a descendant of the Thule Society who served Red Skull during World War II and revealed where their base was in Germany.[92]
Arriving at the base of the Thule Society, the presence of the Agents of Atlas awakened the security system of the place which consisted of heavily armed robots who started shooting wildly and Vorster was hit by a shot fired by the robots who killed him.[93]

Vosuero[]

Mr. Vosuero helped Anthony Stark coordinating the rescue efforts after Firebrand's attack.[94]

VR-37[]

When Seward Trainer used the virtual reality visor to enter Cyberspace, Lady Octopus dispatched her virtual operative VR-37 to intercept him. Although he was defeated by the Scarlet Spider, he did succeed in rendering Seward comatose.[95]

Vukov[]

Vukov (Earth-616) from Tales of Suspense Vol 1 42 0001 Appearances: Tales of Suspense #42

Vukov was a Soviet soldier under the Red Barbarian that reported to him of the creation of the Disintegrator Ray by Tony Stark. The Red Barbarian became enraged with him when Vukov told him that he was not able to obtain the plans and threw a ham at him.[96]
