	Appearances: Mystical Tales #2 He brought his newborn son to his father to introduce him to him and when his father said he was heartbroken for not being able to give anything to his nephew except his love, his son replied that this was the best gift he could give him.

LaPierre

Appearances: Alpha Flight #11 Mr. LaPierre was the homeowner of the Hudsons when they lived in Ottawa soon after they got married. When they left the apartment to move to New York, where James had accepted Roxxon's offer, Heather took leave of Mr. LaPierre giving him the following 4 months' rent in case they had to return, but Mr. LaPierre replied that they certainly would not be returning..

Lara

Appearances: Mystic Comics #4 Lara was a member of the Trustees of Hate, a group led by Doctor Vortex dedicated to pushing the nations of Borsia and Gratzia into warring with each other for unrevealed reasons. The group was opposed by the hero the Blue Blaze. After escaping the Trustees' lime pit, the Blaze was held at gunpoint by Lara. Lara then showed the Blaze the Trustees' power by using a special hate ray to force Borsia's greatest speaker to break out into an anti-Gratzia tirade. Lara later returned the Blaze to the Trustee's castle hideout. After two attempts to kill the Blaze failed, the Blaze tossed Dr. Vortex into the Trustees' lime pit to die. Without their leader, the group fell apart.

Larissa

Appearances: Wolverine (Vol. 2) #85 Larissa was a human that was integrated into the Phalanx collective. She and other members of the Falange collective were sent by Cameron Hodge to clash with the X-Men but were defeated and perished in the fight.

	Appearances: Fear Itself: Deadpool #1, Fear Itself: Deadpool #2, Fear Itself: Deadpool #3 Larry and his partner Marv pretended to be two repairmen to retrieve a hammer that would save Cimarron's people. The hammer, which Deadpool appropriated and gave it to the Walrus, believing it to be a fake, was used by Larry and his partner to defeat the werewolves in Cimarron. Finally, they tell Deadpool that the hammer is in fact a magical object that was used to oppose a group of werewolves who were planning to storm the town of Cimarron.
	Appearances: Daredevil (Vol. 3) #23, Daredevil (Vol. 3) #24, Daredevil (Vol. 3) #25 Larry approached Matthew Murdock and told him he knew who was after him. He was really a homeless boy who was paid for medical testing in order to replicate Daredevil's powers.
	Appearances: Deadpool (Vol. 6) #13 Larry was a sanitation worker at the Fresh Kills landfill.
	Appearances: Daredevil #209 Larry was a public defender who was assigned to defend Johnny Squarejohn, a childhood friend of Matt Murdock.

Lars

	Appearances: Amazing Spider-Man Annual #21 Lars was one of Mary Jane Watson's friends who attended her wedding bash in a private Uptown club.
	Appearances: Thor: Godstorm #2 Lars was an oil rig worker under Brom's supervision.
	Appearances: X-Men (Vol. 3) #8, X-Men (Vol. 3) #9, X-Men (Vol. 3) #10 Lars was one of the boys bullied and lured by an internet subterfuge by the Dark Beast and transformed into a Lizard-like being and then placed in the service of Dark Beast to catch other boys to experiment on. It was revealed that Lars was the victim of a car accident and was consequently mutilated in his arms and legs. Dark Beast used a variant of Connors' serum on him, transforming him into a lizard-like creature. After Emma Frost and Spider-Man escape, Dark Beast orders Lars to check equipment that could have been damaged during the fight. Shortly thereafter, he struck Emma Frost from behind as she was destroying Dark Beast's equipment, but was quickly defeated by the Lizard.

Appearances: Avengers Spotlight #38 Dr. Larson was a veterinarian working at the San Pedro Cat & Dog Clinic.

Lassiter

Appearances: Shroud #1, Shroud #2, Shroud #3, Shroud #4 Lassiter was a New York mobster. Some of his men failed to come to terms with mobster Garrick King, who escaped with the $ 2 million Lassiter would go to the Cult of Kâli for their alliance. After Shroud clashed with his men, Lassiter contacted the leader of the Cult, Yannroth, who would unleash his killer, Kâli, against Shroud. After explaining to Yannroth that he was not working with Shroud but that he was his enemy, to show his intentions he arranged a meeting with Garrick King where, however, there was also the Scorpion that captured him. Lassiter and Scorpion also took King's wife hostage to force him to hand over the money, and after obtaining it they went to meet with Yannroth but after Shroud revealed that the money was counterfeit, Yannroth had Lassiter killed.

Latour

Appearances: Patsy Walker #90 Miss Latour was a stern French tutor.

Laura

Appearances: Uncanny Tales #1 Laura and her sister Agnes were visited by Mr. Cotton from the Welfare Bureau after receiving complaints about the smell and filth of the house. He threatened to call an exterminator on the rats and attempted to kill one himself, one named Caesar, who attacked and bit him back. After he killed the rat, the women were distraught and lead him to their clean cellar where they chained up Mr Cotton and fed him to the rest of the rats.

Appearances: Iron Man #2 Laura was the first witness to notice the Demolisher flying towards Tony's private yacht.

Laurel

Appearances: Silver Sable and the Wild Pack #24 This man was an agent of the Genesis Coalition and a supporter of Coalition high-ranking member Dmitri Petrovich. When the Coalition arrested Petrovich, this man and another Petrovich-ist posed as backup guards to approach the guards escorting Petrovich, and freed him by killing the real guards. They then took Petrovich to a hangar to escape in a stolen Hydra Issue Fighter, and told him that many Coalition agents supported him. Petrovich accepted the help of the two agents and led them to attack the Royal Palace of Symkaria to try to capture the Coalition's enemy, Silver Sable, who was there. Petrovich ordered to eliminate any other enemy, but make sure to capture Sable alive. However, Petrovich planned for this plan to fail so that Sable would capture Petrovich and then Petrovich could manipulate Sable by feigning fear; he did not care about the lives of his followers. Sable's agent Douglas Powell of the Wild Pack shot down the fighter; but the occupants were unharmed and continued the battle. Sable sent two of her men, Larry Arnold and Battlestar, against the Coalition agents, whom she dubbed "Laurel and Hardy" after the comedy duo, while she was fighting Petrovich. Laurel and Hardy were quickly defeated.

Lauren

Appearances: Ms. Marvel: Stretched Thin #1 Lauren was an employee of O'Connell Daycare attended by Malik, the grandson of Kamala Khan.

Laurent

Appearances: Fear Itself: Black Widow #1 Laurent was a mercenary hired to retrieve France's nuclear codes. He died when Black Widow activated a Life-Model Decoy booby-trapped with explosives, in order to kill Laurent and his employers.

Lauria

Appearances: Web of Spider-Man Annual #9 Lauria lived in the monastery where an unidentified woman left a trio of Hellbent infants, who would be known as the Cadre. Lauria helped Gregori supervise the children, until, like the rest of the Knights Templar, she was slaughtered by the hellbents sent by Seth.

Laurie

Appearances: Deathlok #1, Deathlok #2, Deathlok #3 Laurie was Harlan Ryker's secretary at Cybertek. When Michael Collins showed up at Ryker's office, Laurie told him that Mr. Ryker was busy with Ben Jacobs in a weapons test and could not be disturbed. A few days later Laurie warns Mr. Ryker in his office that Mr. Cross had arrived to meet him. Later, Laurie warns via video, Mr. Ryker that there is Mr. Burr to see him

Lawrence

	Appearances: Shadowland: Blood on the Streets #1 Lawrence was one of the bouncers at the Eastern Promise, the club owned by Sergey Bulovic. Lawrence usually abused the girls that wanted to become dancers in the club until Silver Sable beat him while she infiltrated into the club.
	Appearances: Marc Spector: Moon Knight #24 Bruno and Lawrence were two minions in Emmanuel Raposa Florida cocaine smuggling operation. When one of Raposa's sailors reported how he had been assaulted by Moon Knight, questioned and forced to drop a million dollars in cocaine, Raposa had Bruno and Lawrence grab the man so that Raposa himself could execute him by feeding him money. Bruno or Lawrence (the one with an eyepatch) mentioned that Moon Knight had been in the Avengers and was worried about these superheroes going after the operation; but Raposa focused on his drug lord rival Rory Valdez, deeming the latter to be the greater threat. The story does not reveal which one is Bruno and which Lawrence. These character also seem to be Raposa's minions from the previous issue Marc Spector: Moon Knight #23, with different coloring, but Raposa calls them by different names (Raphael and Andy).
	Appearances: Venom: Lethal Protector (Vol. 2) #4, Venom: Lethal Protector (Vol. 2) #5 Lawrence was a servant for Justin Hammer. Lawrence sacrificed his own life in order not to fail trust in his services towards the one he worked for.
	Appearances: Daredevil (Vol. 2) #75 Lawrence was invited by Bob Cumeo to attend a gathering and discuss about Daredevil.

Lawson

	Appearances: Marvel Team-Up #100 Lawson and Deruge were two subordinates of Nguyen Ngoc Coy, who were ordered to watch over Leong and Nga Cao Mạnh, but they were easily defeated by Spider-Man.
	Appearances: Marvel Boy: The Uranian #3 Professor Lawson was a crazed scientist who invented a ray capable of devolving people by restructuring their genetic structure by matching them with a distant ancestor of whom they kept traces in their DNA. He assaulted the campus where he taught and did research, accusing the Chancellor of having never understood his work, he but was opposed and defeated by Marvel Boy.
	Appearances: Amazing Spider-Man (Vol. 3) #1.2, Amazing Spider-Man (Vol. 3) #1.3, Amazing Spider-Man (Vol. 3) #1.4, Amazing Spider-Man (Vol. 3) #1.5 Lawson was one of the members of the school A.V. Club at Midtown High School.
	Appearances: Deathlok (Vol. 2) #11 Lawson was the security chief of Magnum Munitions working in Rock Hill, South Carolina. When High Tech stole some files on cybernetics that Magnum had bought to closuring Cybertek, Lawson tried to stop him, but High Tech's advanced weapons overpowered him. Lawson reported his blunder to Magnum Munitions' CEO Moses Magnum; then Lawson offered to track the files using a tracker in the file. Magnum then sent Lawson on a mobile weapon platform Terrordome to recover the file and kill High Tech. Lawson found High Tech in Stark Prosthetics facility in Denver and attacked, threatening to kill the other Stark employees lest High Tech returned the files immediately - Lawson intended to kill High Tech no matter what. However, the files had been also tracked by cyborg superhero Deathlok, who protected High Tech, broke the Terrordome and captured a slightly-injured Lawson, who was then turned to the police. Magnum Munitions denied any knowledge of Lawson's actions, of the Terrordome or of any stolen files. However, Moses Magnum arranged for another of his employees, Edgerton, to pay Lawson's bail, then have Lawson murdered. As a security guard, Lawson used a laser gun.

Appearances: Conan the Barbarian #155 Rayshella's elder sister, Layla was charmed by Conan and approached him out on the balcony, but she ran quickly back to her home as soon as Baron Vjerzak appeared down the street.

Le Guin

Appearances: Defenders #117 When Over-Mind, whose mind was possessed by the five psychics who had mind melded, decided to close loose ends with the individual personalities, Philip emerged and traveled to his native country. In the meantime, his mother, in Phillip's room, heartbroken, could not rest over the loss of her son, just as Philip entered through the window and at the sight of her son, her mother fainted.

Leach

Appearances: Daredevil #159 Leach was a thug who apparently drowned in the East River after being defeated by Daredevil.

LeBon

Appearances: Spectacular Spider-Man Annual #11, Web of Spider-Man Annual #7 Mentioned: Amazing Spider-Man Annual #25 Mademoiselle LeBon was the daughter of a high-ranking Montreal government official who was kidnapped by a radical group of her father's political opponents who wanted to force him to give up his seat in parliament. Her father asked for the intervention of Silver Sable International to free her and for this reason Silver Sable created a group of ad hoc mercenaries called the Outlaws.

Lee

	Appearances: Marvel Comics Presents #6 Lee was a smuggling chieftain who pledged to Jessan Hoan's service.
	Appearances: Sensational Spider-Man #25 Aiming at Spider-Man, Lee fired his slazer gun and mistakenly hit Aura, almost killing her.
	Appearances: Fearless Defenders #2 Lee was one the mercenaries sent by Mr. Raven to capture Dani Moonstar at 1128 Mission Street.

Leez

Appearances: Rogue #2 Leez and her friend were travelling to New Orleans during a school break when they met Gambit and asked for directions. During the conversation something exploded and Gambit was attacked by Assassins Guild. Her friend wanted to drive out there but Leez was fascinated by the battle.

Lefkowicz

Appearances: New Warriors #61 Lefkowicz was Jupiter's boss at the Oak Hills Mall.

Leftenant

Appearances: Frankenstein #6 In the 19th century, The Leftenant worked with the Ingolstadt jail when several prisoners disappeared. He tried to get Colonel Blackstone to open an investigation but he refused to so the Leftenant began investigating himself. On his way to Castle Frankenstein, he ran into Frankenstein's Monster which the Leftenant attacked but was knocked out. Later, after recovering he found the monster chained up being held prisoner by the Colonel who was killing the prisoners and turning them into his mindless slaves using a Giant Spider. He fought the Colonel but was seemingly losing when the chamber began flooding and the spider escaped. The Leftenant fled begging the Colonel to flee too instead of dying. His fate after the castle crumbled is unknown.

LeGrange

Appearances: Marc Spector: Moon Knight #12, Marc Spector: Moon Knight #13 LeGrange was an infamous, international mercenary. His weapon of choice was the knife. He sported a moustache and kept a cap even indoors. Marc Spector, another mercenary, considered him a second-rate professional. Along with Akkad, Banning, and Archie Simmons, he was hired by freelance mercenary Arsenal as a part of an elite unit to give support to the rebellion against dictator Bushman in Burunda; the whole operation being secretly funded by a drug cartel. Arsenal also recruited Spector, an expert in Bushman, and had the whole merc team gather in Marseilles, France. Spector sneaked away, discovered who was really behind the rebellion and, in his disguised identity as superhero Moon Knight, he easily battered him and his peers, delivering all of them to the French police. The police took them to jail in a van, but Arsenal released himself and escaped; he refused to release LeGrange and the other mercenaries because they have proven to be worthless.

Leiberthal

Appearances: Captain America #391, Captain America #393 Mr. Leiberthal was the prosecutor in the trial brought against the Red Skull for his war crimes. During the trial, Leiberthal was taken hostage by Crossbones and released from the fake bioplastoid Avengers created by Arnim Zola.

Leif

Appearances: Marvel's Voices: Legacy (Vol. 2) #1 Leif and his colleague Kat were two archaeologists from the Stockholm Department of Archeology who identified an underground chamber in which there was a huge treasure, but as soon as they touched the cursed gold present there they turned into dragons and fought against the Valkyrie Rūna that had come to their aid. Runa destroyed the casket containing the curse, probably a trick by Loki for fun, causing Leif and his colleague to return human again.

Leilani

Appearances: Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man (Vol. 2) #1-4 & 13 Leilani was a neighbor of Peter Parker who asked if Spider-Man knew a super-hero stronger than him to face her problems with very powerful people.

Lem

	Appearances: Sensational She-Hulk #13 Lem was a mechanic from Mount Pressure who repaired She-Hulk's flying car.
	Appearances: Captain America: Patriot #3 Lem was one of Lavender's goons. He was confronted by Captain America after their boss managed to shoot at Bucky.

Len

	Appearances: X-Men: Children of the Atom #2 Len was one of the sportscasters for the Freeport High School Red Devils football team.
	Appearances: Wolverine (Vol. 3) #8 Len was Special Agent Aguinaga's partner.

Lena

Appearances: Deadpool (Vol. 4) #45 Lena was the stewardess of a wealthy businessman's private plane that was hijacked by Evil Deadpool to be flown to the United States. When she, along with the other members of her crew attempted to rebel against her hijacking, Evil Deadpool killed her.

Lenny

	Appearances: West Coast Avengers #3 Lenny was one of "Lucky Max" Galeno's affiliates in Los Angeles.
	Appearances: Web of Spider-Man #27 Lenny was an enforcer for the ESI and was killed in an explosion within the ESI building while trying to capture Spider-Man and Lee Camino.
	Appearances: Captain America #388 Lenny was one of the best Taskmaster students and was hired with others for a sparring partner session dressed as Captain America. The opponent turned out to be the Red Skull who killed Lenny and the other sparring partners in an extremely simple way.
	Appearances: Scarlet Spider #1 Lenny was one of the two employees of Jason Tso, who were tasered and rigged with explosives by the Pro. Sent into Club Noir to kill Tso, their grenades were slapped away by Ben Reilly.
	Appearances: Amazing Spider-Man '97 #1 Lenny was one of the gunmen that Lucky Lobo had trained on Mary Kelleher.
	Appearances: Avengers (Vol. 3) #13 Lenny was part of a contingent of Junior Gates' mob who was defeated in Lower Manhattan by the New Warriors.

	Appearances: Captain Britain #22 Leo was an inveterate tippler who witnessed Nazis gathering in London with uniforms and guns; he warned the police about it, pleading to be believed.
	Appearances: Iceman #1 Leo was a police officer in Port Jefferson and along with his partner, encountered the aliens Idiot and White Light who used a mind control technique to make them go home and think their encounter was just a dream.
	Appearances: Nova (Vol. 2) #8 Leo was an agent of the Shadow Consortium, tasked with hijacking and retrieving a secret United States defense surveillance satellite. He was confronted by Nova, who convinced him and his partner Herb to surrender, but died in the explosion of the ship he was travelling in.
	Appearances: United States of Captain America #5 Leo was a child who dressed as Captain America went with his mother to the Smithsonian Exhibit where he met Steve Rogers and, recognizing him, asked if he was Captain America. Steve replied, after asking his name, that he could have been, but he too could have been Captain America as everyone present at the exhibit.
	Appearances: Fantastic Four (Vol. 6) #48 Leo encounters the Human Torch outside the Baxter Building complaining that the hostage situation inside the building is stalling traffic making him late for his shift. Soon after, he helps Johnny pass through the force field that surrounded the building.

	Appearances: Monsters Unleashed #5 Leonard cured Ellen Brandt's face after she was burned by Man-Thing.

	Appearances: Daredevil vs. Punisher #4 Leonard was Hammerhead's cell inmate in Salamanca.

When a visitor asked to meet Maxine Danger, he replied that he had no scheduled visits for Ms. Danger, so the visitor showed his tentacles revealing himself to be Dr. Octopus and replied to Luis with a cynical smile that it was a visit surprise. Soon after he was gassed and knocked out by Octopus.

After being detained in the Commission on Superhuman Activities Facility, it was discovered that Luisa and the other immigrants had been tested on them in a laboratory by an unknown group. Seeing the attempt to eliminate the evidence, Joaquim made her cousin escape, bringing her to safety. Luisa, after being taken to safety in an old secret base of S.H.I.E.L.D. by Joaquin, she tells her cousin how she was picked up from her workplace and kidnapped. Joaquin found Luisa unconscious in the cell where the White Wolf mercenaries had locked her up. Luisa reveals to Joaquim that White Wolf had come for them looking for the piece of Vibranium that she was hiding in the shoe, so Joaquim took her to her grandmother and there she met one of the boys who was with her on the train.

Lyle

Appearances: Marc Spector: Moon Knight #1; Marc Spector: Moon Knight #2 Lyle was one of the two members of the Glitch Brothers, a pair of criminal experts in surveillance technology dressed in matching shirts. Lyle was thin, rarely sitting and giving commands. He also interacted with other people, as his partner Character Index/T#Tector was less talkative. While proficient in his work, Lyle was not good at protocol and failed to refer to his employers as anything but "boss" and derivatives of the word. The Glitch Brothers were hired by President Bushman of Burunda to get as much information as possible on Bushman's enemy the Moon Knight; Bushman claimed that this information was "vital to my nation's security", thus the Glitch Brothers operated from a room within the Embassy of Burunda in New York City. The Glitch Brothers provided the information, allowing Bushman to start an operation against the Knight. The Moon Knight answered by approaching the Embassy, being detected by the Glitch Brothers. Bushman ordered the Glitch Brothers to keep him away, and send a messenger with instructions for him. The Glitch Brothers complied, but the Moon Knight managed to sneak into the Embassy, overcoming Bushman's security. Lyle noticed that and at first reprimanded the guard that had been outwitted. When Lyle noticed that the Moon Knight was literally on the other side of the door, he decided to leave the Embassy with Hector.

Appearances: Captain Marvel (Vol. 10) #30 Mr. Lynskey was an elderly neighbor of Kamala Khan, a former convict who had learned to love books in prison and when he came out of prison he started running a free library, working to get people in the neighborhood to read by donating books and accepting them from those who wanted donate them.
