History

This man was a member of the Neo, a subspecies of mutants that preferred to live separately from humanity in a hidden city for generations. He was married to Domina and they had a daughter.[2] He hold the position of Jaeger in his clan and as such had a right to call the hunt for the clan's enemies.[1]

When High Evolutionary temporarily turned off the X-Gene of all mutants on the planet[3] it had also affected the Neo. Many of them died due to the loss of their powers, including Jaeger's daughter who drowned after losing the power to breath underwater.[2]

Jaeger, Domina and the Warclan then swore vengeance on the world. They traveled to Brooklyn where they encountered and attacked Nightcrawler. Nightcrawler was wounded, but managed to escape, so Jaeger went after him, while the rest of the Warclan proceeded with their vengeance and soon encountered other X-Men.[1]

Nightcrawler went to the community clinic to get medical help from Dr. Cecilia Reyes. Jaeger tracked him down to the clinic and attacked Wagner and Reyes. Reyes tried to protect Nightcrawler and herself with force fields, but was quickly defeated. Nightcrawler fought fiercely, but was also defeated. Before Jaeger could kill him, however, Cecilia Reyes in a desperate move created a force field within of Jaeger's body, killing him immediately.[1]

After his death, position of clan's Jaeger was passed down to Rax.[1]

  • Tracking: Jaeger was able to track Nightcrawler across the city, by using his blood.[1] It is unknown if Jaeger just followed the smell, or if he specifically needed a sample of his target's blood to track them down.
  • Power Mimicry: Jaeger was able to borrow powers of his wife Domina.[1] It is unknown if he was able to borrow the powers of other Neo.
  • Superhuman Strength: He was able to crush the walls with his bare hands.[1]

Jaeger was trained in hand-to-hand combat and the use of firearms. Jaeger was also a trained hunter.[1]
