Synopsis for "Trial by Ordeal!"
Kid Cassidy endures trials to become a Cheyenne Brave, these trials include walking on hot coals, being punctured by white hot heated spears without making a sound, and finally defeating a bear in arena combat. Reno who is released from custody at Fort Mitchell is captured by the Cheyenne while looking for them and hunting on their land. When Reno makes it to their camp he is witness to Cassidy collapsed by exhaustion while in combat with the bear. Not wasting anytime Reno hops into the pen and slays the bear. The Cheyenne cheer while Reno is left in the dark whether the Kid is alive or dead.
