OG Gen X Part 1
You’ve been asking for it! You’ve been waiting for it! And now it’s here… the original Generation X is back! But this is no happy reunion for any of them. Their former teammate Monet is now bonded to her brother, the vampiric mutant called Emplate. Will Jubilee, Chamber, and Husk be able to save Monet? Or is she forever lost to her brother’s curse?Trivia
- This issue includes Marvel Value Stamp: Series C #39: Falcon.
- In the scene before Jubilee kissed Jono, writer Christina Strain had a whole speech planned for Jono, but she forgot how it was worded and just wrote the character also forgetting what he was about to say.[1]
- Despite the cover and solicit synopsis suggesting otherwise, the Gen X reunion isn't complete in this issue, with only Husk and Chamber confronting Monet. Jubilee would join the fight in the following issue[2] and the four teammates would finally be seen on the same page together (multiple times) in the final issue of the series.[3]

- ↑ Strain, Christina (17 December 2017) When I was writing this, I had this whole thing Chamber was going to say to Jubilee, but I was so tired when I was writing that I couldn’t remember how it was worded. So I just wrote that instead. And as soon as I typed it, I loved it, and left it. True story. Tumblr. Retrieved on 11 June 2021.
