History

A humanoid race with octopoid features, including tentacles in place of their arms and legs, Entemen had orange skin and averaged 6'6" in height. Their home planet was Entem, fifth from the sun, in the Donatut star system in the Milky Way galaxy.

In the late 20th/early 21st century, their level of technology was inferior to that of Earth and their estimated population was 98 million.[1]

Despite the fact that they presumably did not yet possess their own means of star travel, several Entemen have been encountered by humans. The first was one of the prospective bidders who were aboard an intergalactic auction craft that had been sent to Earth to obtain the autobiography written by Rick Jones.[2] Others were members of the multi-species intergalactic religious order known as the Mourners who Quasar encountered on several occasions.[3]

Alternate Realities[]

Earth-691[]

By the 30th century, the Entemen in this timeline had developed technology that was as advanced as that of Earth.

In 3016 AD, Mr. Slech was a patient on Asylum, the planet-wide mental institution for the most hopelessly neurotic patients from some fifty loosely-confederated planets in its sector of the galaxy.[4]

In 3017 AD, the mercenaries known as Force arrived on Entem seeking a clue that they believed was to be found in one of the planet's temples. When some of the natives tried to stop them from entering, violence broke out but Force easily prevailed, obtained the clue and departed, leaving death and destruction in their wake.[5]
