Connie Plepler met her husband when she was working as a cashier at a lamp store he managed. During their relationship, Mr. Plepler sexually harassed her constantly. Together they had a daughter named Daphne.
During the dinner when Connie and her husband met Daphne's necromancer boyfriend Michael Hawthorne, Connie choked with a piece of chicken and died when she was alone in the kitchen. Michael found her body and brought it back to life with a spell, turning her into a chicken-obsessed undead who picked up her husband and forced him into sex in revenge for the years of sexual harassment she had to endure.[1]
At some point in time, Connie appeared to have become a normal human once again. Together with her husband, she had lunch with Daphne and Michael, an occasion during which Daphne was going to reveal she was expecting a child. However, they were interrupted by the arrival of Michael's friend and ally Deadpool, who took him to have him help in a supernatural emergency at the Monster Metropolis.[2]
