  • Cover art: Captain America figure by Kirby and Giacoia, panels on the right by Heck and Ayers.
  • Subtle (and not so subtle) changes were made from the Golden Age Captain America stories to meet the Comics Code.
    • In the Splash Page of Story I, the villain's whip has been re-drawn to be less apparent, and the lacerations from the victim's back has been removed.
    • In Story I, Page II, Panel VI the villain's whip has been removed.
    • In Story I, Page 6, wording on a characters "venomous death" has been deleted.
    • In Story II, On page 5-6, the villainous Toshio's knife has been removed, and his torture of Commander Phillips is referred to as a "Treatment".
    • There are other changes not noted by this editor.
