Betty Brant is the twenty year old secretary of the Daily Bugle Publisher J. Jonah Jameson. Betty seemed to share some interest in the freelance photographer Peter Parker, and despite the appparant age gap he didn't hesitate to ask her out. Ms Brant turned him down because he far was too young for her. Peter Parker keeps asking her to his Fall Formal, and she almost agrees, unitl his Aunt May, who wants her nephew to go with Mary Jane Watson who was his age. Aunt May talked Ms Brant in to turning Peter down. Betty is always at Daily Bugle when Peter visits to sell his pictures. Betty is last scene talking with Ned Lee who asks her out.
