This reality diverged from the Prime Marvel Universe a few moments before the X-Men assaulted the Inhumans' New Attilan.

Seeing as the toxicity of the Terrigen Cloud was the source of the conflict between the X-Men and the Inhumans, Negasonic Teenage Warhead used her powers of reality warping to render the Terrigen Cloud harmless for mutants, hoping it could stop the conflict. Unfortunately, Inhuman zealots saw the changes to the Terrigen Cloud as profane, and attacked mutantkind, leading to the loss of many lives. Magneto retaliated against the Inhumans, and died in the process.[1]

Five years into the future, New York City had become a demon-plagued ghost town saturated by Terrigen Mists known as "Limbo-Town." Deadpool and his Mercs for Money patrolled the streets of Limbo-Town, protecting those who couldn't protect themselves from the group of Inhumans known as the Tribe.

The Mercs for Money travelled to Cambodia looking for Negasonic Teenage Warhead, who had gone missing as soon as she had altered the cloud. Deadpool tried to convince her to undo the change she caused. Having hacked into the systems of robotic Merc for Money Machine Man, the Tribe discovered Negasonic Teenage Warhead's location, and decided to attack in revenge for what she did to the Terrigen Cloud. Negasonic intervened in the ensuing fight in an attempt to reach a ceasefire. However, Lash attacked her from behind and absorbed a portion of her energies. Deadpool cut off Lash's arm to save Ellie, and the villain used his other hand to blast Deadpool instead. The backlash was too much for Deadpool's healing factor, and he died shortly after, asking Negasonic to undo what she did with his last breathes.

As the Inhumans prepared to retreat, Negasonic used her powers to travel five years back in time, and stopped her past self, or rather her past self from the Prime Marvel Universe, from altering the composition of the cloud.[2]
