Reality where Merlyn and Arthur trapped Catavolcus and killed him using fusion device known as Dragon. They themselves escaped the explosion with the help of a time-traveller known as the Doctor.

  • This universe connects with the "Whoniverse" as introduced in the science fiction television series Doctor Who, which ran from 1963 to 1989 and again from 2005 to the present. In the 1980s and 90s, Marvel published a number of Doctor Who-based comics, primarily via its UK branch's Doctor Who Weekly (later known as Doctor Who Magazine), and also obliquely linked the character to the main Marvel Universe via appearances in Death's Head Vol 1. By extension, the spinoff TV series Torchwood, The Sarah Jane Adventures, K-9 and Class also connect here. However, a multiverse is known to exist within the "Whoniverse" (first hinted at in the 1970 story "Inferno" and later confirmed in the 2008 episode "Turn Left"), so therefore Earth 5556 may not necessarily be the same one in which the TV adventures occur. It has been speculated that Blake's 7 may also exist in this universe, as elements from their cosmology have appeared in Doctor Who spin-off stories, as might elements of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Quatermass. Elements of Captain Britain have also intersected with the Doctor Who Magazine comic strip.
