After Emil Blonsky quit his job as a creative writing teacher, he was attacked and almost killed by Hulk on the outskirts of Duncan, causing the townsfolk to be evacuated and the dam to completely collapse, sweeping away the whole town. The unconscious Abomination was then taken away by Gen. Thunderbolt Ross and his men.[1]
