Don Johanssen was a scientist who was mutated by Professor Garrett Whale into a a zombie-like creature. He was found by Sludge feeding on the civilians and was driven off. Johannsen later attacked Whale after he had captured Sludge for experimentation and killed Whale. Sludge got free and fought Johannsen. Sludge determined that Johannsen wanted to die and so stuck Johannsen's head into head, smothering him.[1]
