Synopsis for "The Unbearable Lightness of Being!"Edit

Dormammu has taken over Doc's body and calls the other black sorcerers to follow him. Doc, Clea, and Topaz fight Dormammu so that Doc can have his own body back.

Incantations include: O, thou bride, mother, crone -- The blood of the Earth and the milk of heaven -- By all that rises and converges and falls in thy sight, O adorable one -- hear me! In this hour of danger, horrible danger from without. I pray you rise up against it! Bestir your eternal forces to our aid! In the depths we cry to you: Maia, Gaea, Dea!

  • The title to this issue, "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" is taken from the name of a novel written by Milan Kundera in 1982 and first published in 1984 in France.
  • The "Mysterious Champion" that the frogs keep referring to is actually Thor. Thor was transformed into a frog from an enchantment by Loki and assisted the Central Park Frogs against a pack of aggressive rats in Thor (Volume 1) #364.
