History

Early Life

Dante Pertuz lived in Maple Falls in Upstate New York and was living a normal life until an Inhuman ship carrying Seeker and the Alpha Primitives crashed into the nearby mountains.

Terrigenesis

As a result, the Terrigen Mist was released from the ship and Dante was affected. Both the Avengers and the Inhuman Royal Family found the Terrigen Cocoon inside a building. While the Avengers and the Inhumans were fighting, Seeker monitored the Terrigen Cocoon until Dante emerged as Inferno and went on the attack. The Avengers and the Inhumans had to work together to fight Inferno. Upon Hulk and Lockjaw returning with a Terrigen Crystal , the Avengers and the Inhumans were able to use it as part of a device that dispersed the Terrigen Fog enough for Inferno and the Alpha Primitives to start acting like themselves. Now in control of his abilities, Dante befriended the Inhumans where he took up their offer to live part-time on Attilan.[1]

Inhuman Wars

After causing a disaster in Attilan which culminated in the destruction of the city, Dante surrendered to authorities and agreed to wear a registration disk.[2]

When Truman recommended that all Inhumans become registered, the Avengers was vehemently opposed to such a system and cut all ties with the government. So, Marsh created his own team of Avengers, the Mighty Avengers.[3]

After a fight between the two Avengers' teams, Captain America got seriously injured and the main Avengers were arrested. The only member who avoided arrest was Black Widow, who combined forces with Medusa And Black Bolt to rescue the Avengers. After getting away, Inhumans all over the world, including Dante, started to lose control over their powers, because of the registration disks and it was at this moment that Ultron revealed himself as Truman Marsh.[4]

Ultron then attacked the city with a robot army, but was eventually defeated by both the Avengers' teams and Doctor Strange.[5]
