Synopsis for "Descent Into the Time-Stream"

Kang attempts to go back in time to prevent the Phantom Eagle from destroying the German supergun but is thwarted by a time storm. Instead of going back himself Kang selects the Hulk to go back to stop the attack on the super gun because only he could withstand the perils of the time storm. The Germans fire their super gun at the Hulk, but it does nothing to slow him down. In his rage the Hulk destroys the super gun for having been fired at him, thwarting Kang's plans. In his anger Kang threatens to leave the Hulk in that time period but finds that the affects of the time storm are forcing the Hulk back to his own time and inadvertently thrusting Kang out of his own.
