Synopsis for "The Secret Origin of Jessica Jones"

In this 2-part story, we learn the origin of Jessica Jones' powers. She was an ordinary girl, who went to Midtown High School, together with Peter Parker, and had a crush on him. One day, when she's with her family on a trip, they are involved in a car accident with the U.S. Military, in which she comes into contact with "hazardous experimental material". Her parents and brother are killed in the accident, and Jessica ends up in a coma. She wakes up during Galactus' first visit to Earth, which is approximately six months after the car crash.

Trivia

Jessica is present at the demonstration in which Peter Parker gets bitten by a radioactive spider, as seen in Amazing Fantasy 15, and she is nearly run over by a truck containing radio-active material, which hints at the origin of Daredevil.
