This weapon was so powerful it could put an army out of action with the flick of a finger. The Grey Gargoyle attempted to steal it from the factory, in order to defeat Thor and seize Mjolnir, but Iron Man used his chest transmitter on a certain frequency that made the cobalt weapon to short circuit and beat the villain[1].
